Draft the National Quality Policy in Botswana and Support Economic Operators/Exporters to Comply with WTO/TBT Requirements

International Economics is leading a consortium to support the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) in Drafting the National QI policy for Botswana that will set the foundation for the proper functioning of QI institutions in Botswana. The project funded by the ACP EU -TBT Program in Brussels involves capacity building of BOB’s staff and local service providers through a series of trainings on auditing and inspections competencies as per international standards. The project will also raise awareness on the key elements of the WTO/TBT Agreement among public and private relevant stakeholders for the purpose of enhancing their compliance with the WTO Agreements.
