Scaling the Use of Digital Identities in Trade

International Economics Consulting Ltd in collaboration with the ICC United Kingdom produced the report “Scaling the use of digital identities in trade”, which investigates their significance, showcasing real-world use cases and highlights their pivotal role in achieving sustainability goals and enhancing supply chain transparency.

Despite Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) being a foundational requirement for future digitalised trade and the increasing need to have greater visibility across global supply chains to meet sustainability goals, the LEI remains underutilised in cross-border trade.

The report can be accessed here.
