Supporting the Design of Ukraine’s National Export Strategy

During the first week of June, Paul Baker and Pablo Quiles, International Economics’ CEO and Trade Analyst, respectively, supported the International Trade Centre’s team in conducting stakeholders consultations in Kiev, Ukraine, in the framework of Ukraine’s National Export Strategy. The aim of such consultations is to gain an in-depth understanding of the country’s economy and the difficulties faced by particular sectors, such as Machinery, Information & Communication Technology, Creative Services, amongst others.

The aim of Ukraine’s National Export Strategy is to identify sectors where high export potential and put forward a series of plans and actions to address the challenges hampering the realisation of such potential.

Paul and Pablo are expected to visit Kiev again during the first week of September, and in November.
