Tanzania – Value Chain Roadmaps and Sector Strategy

International Economics, through its Director, Paul Baker, is assisting ITC in the implementation of a DFID funded project “Supporting India’s Trade Preferences for Africa” (SITA) that aims at increasing business transaction values between India and selected East African countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania). More specifically, International Economics is supporting the ITC Export Strategy advisers in elaborating trade performance diagnostics, value chain analyses and strategic opportunities analysis in each of two (2) value chain roadmaps (Leather and Pulses) and one (1) sector strategy (Sunflower) for Tanzania.
