About Penghuy
Penghuy’s work covers multilateral and bilateral free trade agreements, trade negotiation, trade preferences, trade facilitation, project evaluation, and capacity building. Penghuy has worked on a wide range of trade-related projects, including trade facilitation, trade policy framework, LDC graduation, and FTA feasibility studies. He also provides trade- and development-related training to government officials in ASEAN countries.

Penghuy is based in Cambodia and has been working on various projects, including a comprehensive assessment of the Cambodia Trade Integration Strategy (RGC), trade negotiation training (GIZ), FTA feasibility studies (ERIA), trade facilitation (ERIA), trade policy framework (RGC), WTO’s trade policy review (GIZ), Trade Analysis Handbook and Trade Foresight Study for Cambodia (GIZ).

Penghuy was the Director and Designated Associate Professor of the Cambodia Satellite Campus at Nagoya University. He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in International Economics and Development Economics from Nagoya University, Japan.
