Australia 4 ASEAN Expert Panel

Australia 4 ASEAN Expert Panel

The Project at A Glance

The Aus4ASEAN Futures Initiative is a 10-year, AUD204 million investment by the Australian Government, progressing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) between ASEAN and Australia established in October 2021. Tetra Tech International Development, the Managing Contractor for the Technical Services and Support Program (TSSP) component of Aus4ASEAN Futures, is supporting DFAT and ASEAN in designing, developing and implementing Aus4ASEAN Futures activities, providing technical, operational, and program management support as required. To respond to all demand-driven requests, it has assembled a Panel of Partner Organisations.

International Economics, as part of the Panel, is providing long-term advisory services to support the program.

What We Found

Aus4ASEAN Futures is a vital program that enhances the relationship and fosters positive dialogue between Australia and ASEAN. The program operates across ASEAN’s three community pillars: the Economic Community (AEC), the Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), and the Political-Security Community (APSC). Additionally, it supports cross-cutting issues within ASEAN and further strengthens engagement between Australia and ASEAN.

Our Strategy and Impact

The Initiative is demand-driven, agile and responsive to ASEAN priorities, providing practical support through ASEAN regional architecture.

International Economics is providing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), Inclusion, and Communications services, along with high-quality technical advisory across all requested sectoral areas. The team will also facilitate DFAT-funded ASEAN workshops and events, and provide project management and support functions on an ad-hoc basis for demand-driven ASEAN projects.

Our Core Solutions

Governments, international donors, and the private sector face many important questions on the expected outputs and impact before, during and after the implementation of their projects. This is where International Economics’ team of experts, using innovative methodologies to collect and analyse data, can assist you in tracking the economic, social, and environmental aspects of your project.
