Africa is a dynamic continent with unique characteristics and unparalleled challenges but also huge untapped potential for trade and economic growth. International Economics developed a Continental Strategy to Diversify and Grow Africa’s Exports in 2024, which focused on strengthening Africa’s exports to the rest of the World. However, considering new opportunities emerging through the AfCFTA, International Economics is supporting the African Union in facilitating a Technical Workshop and updating the Strategy based on the feedback received.
The project was funded by the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (Spanish: Fundación Internacional y para Iberoamérica de Administración y Políticas Públicas, F.S.P. – FIAP).
